Iraq’s hotel requirements

|
Iraq’s new hotel sector is close to ground zero with many hotels looted, destroyed or in a state of neglect.
An international exhibition, Rebuild Iraq 2004, held in Kuwait drew attention to products and services currently being sourced for the hotel – tourist industry including interior decor (including furniture, bedding, linen, curtains etc.), cleaning services, registration software, as well as consulting and design services. The entire food and beverage range of services and products are also needed, including foodstuffs, processing and packing equipment as well as fast foods and snack franchises. Finally, there is also demand for restaurant and catering equipment, including refrigeration and storage facilities. The exhibition brought together over 45 countries and more than 1100 companies showcasing the widest range of products and services needed for rebuilding Iraq.
