From 25th October 2009, Royal Brunei Airlines passengers will have more flexibility when it comes to booking flights as the airline increases flight frequencies to Singapore, Jakarta, Manila and Jeddah.
Singapore flights will operate 17 times weekly with additional day time flights on Monday, Friday and Sunday departing Brunei at 1.20pm and arriving at 3.20pm.
Meanwhile, Manila services will increase to eight times weekly and Jakarta services will increase to six times weekly. The increase in services for Jeddah from October to December will strengthen RBA's positioning for Jeddah as a niche market.
"RBA is responding to market demand in the Region. We are focused on providing connectivity to our customers and the new Winter schedule allows greater flexibility to connect to Europe and the Middle East," said Robert Yang, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Brunei Airlines.

Royal Brunei Airlines and Malaysia Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a ceremony held at Li Gong Restaurant. The MOU outlines cooperation between the two airlines to work on opportunities that would result to reciprocal benefits.
Captain Sheikh Rashid Sheikh Hj Abd Salam, Senior Vice President of Commercial - Yield & Planning, signed on behalf of Royal Brunei Airlines and Commercial Director Dato' Rashid Khan signed for Malaysia Airlines.
Captain Sheikh Rashid Hj Salam said, "Under this MOU, we hope to further explore enhancements to domestic services in East Malaysia. We have implemented some pilot training arrangements with MASwings and we hope that the MOU will provide a platform for further joint development activities between Royal Brunei Airlines and Malaysia Airlines."
Royal Brunei Airlines and Malaysia Airlines originally signed a codeshare agreement in 2004 for flights to Kuala Lumpur and on 1 July 2009 expanded the agreement to codeshare on Royal Brunei Airlines Kota Kinabalu and Kuching services |
