www.chnpress.com A total of 2586 Achaemnian inscriptions which were mainly discovered from the historical area of Takht Jamshid have been translated into Farsi. A number of these translations are being kept by the University of Chicago.
Abdol Majid Arfaee, linguist and translator of Ilamid texts stated that these inscriptions contain invaluable information about the economical systems of the Achaemenid dynasty and can be source of magnificent further researches and analysis.
Unfortunately due to lack of budge most of this precious collection has not been published yet.
A portion of these translations were published in DAFA Magazine on 1978, and this has been the first and only publication of these inscriptions.
According to Arfaee, the translations of the inscriptions, along with their photos are ready to be published in a 4-volume book but the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organisation (CHTO) of Iran has not allocated the necessary budget as yet.
