Iran’s Underground City Opens To The Public

www.thegreatsilkroad.com After three seasons of archeological studies, the underground city of Nooshabad will be open to the public during Navrouz (Persian New Year) Holidays.
The underground city of Nooshabad is one of the wonders of Iran and dates back to the Islamic period (651 AD onward). Archaeologists working at this underground city have found a number of rooms and corridors at a depth of 13 meters below the ground.
Starting from March 21 (Navrouz holidays) some facilities such as a teahouse on the first floor of this underground city have been prepared to welcome
Nooshabad is situated in 8 kilometers from Kashan, 260 kilometers south of Tehran.

Iranian Band to Perform at Algerian Festival
