Ambassadors Impressed By Iran’s Tourist Attractions

www.tehrantimes.com Foreign ambassadors and staff of 33 embassies in Tehran described Iranian tourist attractions as very ‘wonderful and interesting’.After visiting various parts of Gilan Province, they expressed their surprise with beauties of the northern province.Irish envoy to Tehran, John Deady told IRNA after visiting Anzali international lagoon, that Iran enjoys huge capacities for tourism.He urged Iranian officials to make further efforts to introduce the attractions to the Irish people.Deady also said his country is interested in developing cooperation with Iran in the fields of economy, industry, software and foodstuff processing.Second secretary at Australian Embassy in Tehran, Erik Fitzgibbon described Iran as a beautiful country.The foreign diplomats also visited Masuleh village in Gilan Province as well as Bandar Anzali port on the Caspian Sea.He said that the mutual economic ties particularly in the fields of science, technology, communications, medical sciences and medicine needs to be expanded.Indonesian charge d'affaires to Iran Mumbang Mulyanto announced his country's interest in enhancing bilateral ties with Iran in tourism, culture and higher education sectors.First secretary at Croatian Embassy in Tehran, called the tour of Gilan Province very pleasant.He also called for establishment of direct Tehran-Zagreb flights to facilitate exchange of tourists between the two countries.A delegation comprising 100 ambassadors and staff of foreign embassies in Iran began tour of Gilan Province Thursday afternoon.
They visited Bandar Anzali port facilities and installations as well as Anzali international lagoon.

Iranian Band to Perform at Algerian Festival
