www.tehrantimes.com The Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization (CHTO) plans to establish tourism research and marketing offices in seven countries, the Persian service of the Cultural Heritage News (CHN) agency reported.
The offices will provide information on Iran’s attractions and tourist facilities to people in Malaysia, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Canada, and Saudi Arabia.
“The program has been approved by the government and the necessary funding will be allocated,” a CHTO official said.
He pointed out that Dubai (UAE), Turkey, Hawaii (USA), and several African countries have tourist offices in Japan which play a significant role in attracting Japanese tourists to those locales.
