The organisers of the Travel Turkey Izmir Tourism Fair & Conference have signed up as the latest members of the global World Exhibitions Club.
The event, which is being held from 27-30 November 2008 in Izmir, Turkey has joined the club to further expand its international promotion.
Travel Turkey Izmir combines not only a highly respected tourism exhibition, promoting everything Turkish tourism has to offer, but is also a valuable event to discover the latest on Eurasia tourism trends and developments, through its info-packed conferences and panel discussions.
With the continued support of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism of the Turkish Republic, TÜRSAB, Hannover-Messe International Istanbul and IZFAS, support from World Exhibitions Club, can only help the event and conference meet its goal of attaining further attendees and promoting Turkish tourism in all aspects.
WEC Chairman, Dimitri Laspas said ‘Now in our second year of operation, World Exhibitions Club is becoming established and attracting many events, both new and established from various markets around the world who are realising the great potential the club offers in taking their event to the next step of international awareness.' Since its launch, WEC has been present at a number of international travel, tourism and MICE events including; Monte Carlo Travel Market - Monaco; ITB - Berlin, Germany and EMITT - Istanbul, Turkey (who are WEC Members). WEC management still has a full schedule of events to attend in coming months, including, Arabian Travel Market - Dubai, UAE, BITE - Beijing, China and WTM - London, GB.
