National carrier Gulf Air and Tourism Malaysia joined hands to run a workshop to promote Malaysia in the Kingdom.
The workshop was aimed at generating an increased and active interest in Malaysia as one of Asia's popular tourist destinations, encouraging customers to travel to Malaysia especially during the summer vacation period and promoting Gulf Air's longstanding connections with Malaysia as a preferred carrier.
As part of this joint promotion, an executive workshop was held in Bahrain in which nearly 60 people took part a majority of which were travel agents. Gulf Air Bahrain Sales Manager Esam Al Hammadi welcomed the gathering and gave an overview of Gulf Air and its increased services to Kuala Lumpur from five flights to seven flights weekly. He also highlighted the user-friendly features of Gulf Air website http://www.gulfair.com/ and its ‘best guaranteed fare' for online booking.
Participants were shown video presentations on Malaysia's key destinations and a lucky draw was also held in the end, offering five nights' free accommodation in a 5 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur for two lucky winners. |
