www.bahraintribune.com The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to attract over 20,000 global and regional visitors in addition to exhibitors from 38 countries across the world at a three-day Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE 2007) under the patronage of the Crown Prince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa starting on May 8.
BITE 2007 is seen as a catalyst to motivate the private sector in achieving Bahrain’s $4.17 billion revenue target from the tourism sector as projected by the WTCC for the year 2007.
BITE 2007 on its third anniversary is expected to attract 110,000 overall visitors will make it as one of the largest business to consumer travel shows in the Kingdom. BITE will offer an excellent opportunity to the participating companies and exhibitors.
Organised by Magnum Events and Exhibitions Management (MEEM), the event is supported by the Economic Development Board, the Ministry of Information, Gulf Air and about one dozen major institutions and entities as official sponsors.
