www.danube-river.org The town of Modra, the heart of Slovakia’s “Little Carpathian Wine Road” and famed for its traditional ceramics, is currently planning a trans-border project in the Slovak-Austrian Danube region.
The project is to be realized with the support of the Danube Tourist Commission and funds from the European Union’s INTERREG program. One of the historic
buildings in the town centre is to be renovated for use as an innovative information centre for new tourism products in the Danube region.
Also planned as part of the Modra-Micum project is a website and visitor centre. |
