The additional flights depart Dubai on Thursdays and Saturdays for the six week period, bringing the total number of flights from Dubai to Bangkok to 13 weekly. Convenient arrival times in Bangkok ensure smooth connections through Suvarnabhumi International Airport to all onward destinations served by THAI, whether domestic or international, with departures from Dubai at 2140 arriving Bangkok 0705 the next day.
As a final destination, Thailand itself welcomed over 367,500 visitors from the Middle East in 2006, representing a 31% increase for the period January – November 2006 over the previous year with the most popular domestic destinations being Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang Mai.
