www.diveworldwide.com To celebrate the launch of a new, traditional Dhow-style liveaboard, the "Blue Dhow", diving specialist Dive Worldwide are offering an inaugural discount on the vessel’s first sailing, a 7-day liveaboard cruise in the Gulf of Oman, departing London 31st October 2004.
Omani waters off the Musandam Peninsula are resplendent in diverse and luxuriant coral growth harbouring a vast marine life community. Thirteen species of Whales and Dolphins, have been spotted in Omani waters, along with 125 different species of butterfishes, including the endemic and playful, Arabian Butterfish.
The Blue Dhow has some very untraditional features especially included for modern day divers? needs. At 75ft the Dhow has a master, en-suite 4-berth cabin and four twin berth cabins, air-conditioning, a comfortable saloon, inside and outside galleys. A compressor, fully equipped dive equipment room, diving platform, bar, home theatre and sound system complete an impressive list of facilities.
