Located in the heart of the Ras al Hadd Nature Reserve, the Ras al-Jinz Project will offer a unique eco-tourism experience and unparalleled encounters with sea turtles. This is the largest site for green turtles across the whole of the Indian Ocean.
The Ras al-Jinz Project contains a visitor center, housing a guest lodge with elegant rooms, a themed restaurant and lounge. From here visitors can take tours to watch turtles and also go on an archaeological guided tour.
The project aims to offer high quality tourism services and will contribute to the conservation of the nature and wildlife of Oman, while ensuring socio-economic development for the local community.
The Ras al-Jinz project also houses a modern interactive natural history and archeological museum, research labs & library.
The Ras al-Jinz Project will be represented at the Arabian Travel Market and will be present on the Oman Tourism stand. Please visit them to find out more about this amazing project, quite unique in the region.
