MENA Hotels & Resorts Corporation, the hotel management arm of Al Hokair Group, has been appointed by Ibrahim Asmael, owner of Saudi-based contractor ASMAEL, to manage the first MENA Suites Hotel property in Saudi Arabia.
Scheduled to open during summer 2012, MENA Suites Hotel A-Khobar will be located in Al-Khobar's prime commercial area, opposite to Dhahran Mall.
At the signing ceremony, Sami Al Hokair, executive vice president, Al Hokair Group, said: "The signing of the management agreement with Mr. Ibrahim Asmael, is the start of our partnership of many other projects which we are evaluating and a testament of our commitment to offering our guests even more choices and convenience in the Kingdom."
Asmael said: "the Saudi Government Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SGCTA) has a robust plan in place to increase the tourism industry's share in the country's gross domestic product from six to 16 percent by 2020. We are proud to be contributing to that plan with our partner MENA Hotels & Resorts whom we can rely on and certainly will make this venture a success and the start of our long time partnership."
MENA Suites Hotel Al-Khobar will offer 70 rooms and suites designed to create a homely residential environment for extended-stay travelers and families.
All suites features fully-equipped kitchenette, state-of-the-art entertainment and communications, wide TV screens and variety of International channels, while WiFi is offered free of charge.
