Historic sites are considered most important landmarks of the city which daily receive large tourists groups. These landmarks include Al Musmak Fortress, the National Museum, King Abdul Aziz Historic Center, Al Morab'a Palace, Historic Dary'a, in addition to Wadi Hanifa, Al Thumama and Al Salam Park.
