An exhibition of historical artifacts of Iran entitled “The Glory of Iran” is expected to be on display in Japan in 2006, to introduce the culture and civilization of Iran to Japanese people properly.
Director of National Museum of Iran, Mohammad Reza Kargar, in an interview with Mehr News Agency said the antiquity of these artifacts, numbering 250-300, traces back to pre-Islamic period to Islamic era (end of Qajar dynasty).
Kargar further said the exhibition of “the glory of Iran” would be displayed at the request of Japanese side for display in five cities over there.
