Vienna – 24h subway on weekends

|
To visit Vienna’s sights individually and to discover the diversity of the city to its full extent, it is best to use public transportation: underground, streetcar, bus and city train. Vienna offers a very good transportation network.
Starting September 3, 2010 the five Vienna subway lines will run without interruption at intervals of 15 minutes also on Friday and Saturday night and on the eve of public holidays. The night bus networks will be aligned to this new service offered by Wiener Linien. The 24-hour operation highlights the importance of Vienna as a metropolis and dynamic city. |
