ILTM Ultratravel Forum to forecast trends, travellers and insights into the future of luxury travel

The International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Ultratravel Forum 2011 will welcome a bespoke line‐up of industry movers and shakers to address the trends and high‐end travellers that matter and the ideas, insights and innovations that are currently driving luxury travel market share.
Over 1000 invited guests will attend The Ultratravel Forum on Monday 5th December, 6 ‐ 8.30pm at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes to launch the 10th anniversary edition of ILTM.
‘The World in 2012’ will be presented by John Andrews of The Economist, following his impactful similar presentation at ILTM 2010. His presentation will predict the world economy in 2012 as well as countries, industries and people to watch.
Chris Sanderson and James Wallman of UK based The Future Laboratory – recognized internationally for its innovative approach to trend forecasting and insights into consumer behaviour – will present an overview of luxury traveller lifestyle trends.
The ensuing topical panel debate will discuss the next generation of luxury travel. Hosted by Graham Boynton, Editor of Ultratravel and Group Travel Editor of the UK’s Telegraph Media Group. Panellists debating “Does the Luxury Travel industry meet the needs of a new generation of Luxury Travellers?” will include:
‐ Ellen Bettridge – Vice President of U.S. Retail Travel Network, American Express
‐ Justin Wateridge – Managing Director, Abercrombie & Kent UK
‐ Frank van der Post – Managing Director Brands & Customer Experience, British Airways
‐ Francois Delahaye – Chief Operating Officer, Dorchester Collection
The ILTM Ultratravel Forum will welcome the founder of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Isadore Sharp as an exclusive guest of honour. Mr Sharp will take part in a live and personal interview with Graham Boynton on stage to close the Ultratravel Forum. This follows last year’s highly successful Ultratravel Forum guest of honour live interview with Sol Kerzner.
ILTM’s Marketing Manager Simon Mayle commented: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome such an influential line up for ILTM’s 10th anniversary edition of the Ultratravel Forum. We hope the trends and insights presented will help to innovate, inspire those present in Cannes, as undoubtedly will the presence of a special guest who is truly synonymous with luxury – Four Seasons’ Isadore Sharp.”
ILTM showcases only the most prestigious of luxury travel products and experiences to the most discerning of international luxury travel buyers – confirming the importance the event plays in the luxury travel market calendar. The event ensures buyers of luxury travel can achieve what might take months of travel and research, in just four days of tailored networking at this exclusive event.
