Mr. Frank A. Liepmann has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer at the Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.(www.suteraharbour.com)

Mr Liepmann has an extensive experience in the hospitality business with over fourty-three years in five star international hotel chains across Europe and the Pacific.  Prior to joining the Sutera Harbour Resort, Mr. Liepmann was the General Manager of the Ayodya Resort Bali, Indonesia.

His in-depth knowledge of the hotel industry and market trends within Asia will prove invaluable in meeting the operational needs of a five-star deluxe integrated property.  Mr Liepmann, who is very well versed with the Asian culture, will be a major force to the 2000-strong associates of the Sutera Harbour Resort.

Mr. Liepmann, a German national began his career as an apprentice in Mannheim, Germany which included attending vocational studies in Bad Ueberkingen. He is a graduate from the Swiss Hotel School of Luzern, and he also attended courses at the Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His assignments included positions with major International Hotel chains at luxury establishments in Switzerland, the Philippines, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and the USA.
