“The Culinary Danube”, a thirteen-part television series, which was produced with the support of the Danube Tourist Commission and broadcast on ORF, SAT 1, ZDF, arte, SWR as well as other major European TV stations, recorded sensational viewer numbers.

Since 2005 four new Danube cruise guides have been released by German publishers.

Next year will see publication in New York of a photo documentary on the Danube that originally appeared in the China National Geographic in 2005.

International buyers and journalists have displayed very lively interest in attending the

Danube Travel Mart, which is to be held in conjunction with the new 2007 actb fair in

Vienna.
