International Travel Exhibition In Ho Chi Minh City

ITE HCMC is an annual exhibition organized by Department of Tourism (HCMC), Vinexad and Binet Exhibitions ( Singapore). At  the 2006 event, over 130 seller organizations from 10 countries showcased their tourism products and services during the three-day exhibition.  Fifty-six buyers representing 49 buyers organizations from 13 countries participated in the Buyers' Programme hosted by the Department of Tourism (HCMC) – over 1000 business meetings and negotiations were being held.

After two consecutive years of International Travel Exhibition in HCMC (ITE HCMC), the 3rd presentation of the Exhibition – " Unveil the Charms of IndoChina Circles – Three Countries One Destination" will be held from October 5-7, 2007 at Phu Tho Exhibition Centre - attracting travel officials from across the globe and middle to high-income consumers from the Vietnam.

Trade days (5-6 October)

ITE HCMC 2007 will kick start off  with a 2 –day high quality business-to-business platform to link the international tourism industry with Vietnamese tourism personnel via the Buyers' Programme.

Buyers Programme (4-5 October)

Both exhibitors and hosted buyers will have the opportunity to work on pre-scheduled meetings with their potential business partners.

Furthermore, Buyers will also be given the opportunity to be familiarized with the Indochina circles – having HCMC as the travel hub, thus making the buyer's trip more fruitful whilst for the Vietnamese sellers – more business opportunities for both inbound and outbound travel packages.

Consumer days (6-7 October)

With the improved and rising economy in Vietnam, it heats up the tourism atmosphere in the country.  The trend of traveling is more and more common as Vietnamese enjoy higher standards of living with their increased disposable income. This is further proven by the   statistics quoted by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism that for year 2006, the outbound tourism market is estimated to be over a million tourists.

Hence, with ITE HCMC 2007's interactive business to consumer platform, participating exhibitors can take Vietnamese business and leisure travelers up to a world of new travel experience – let them Travel the World in One Day !!  The consumer day programme will include stage performances, presentations – giving you the opportunity to directly introduce and promote your products and services and show the best of your country/travel products and services to the targeted consumers.

According to the report published by the World Travel and Tourism Council, Vietnam's travel and tourism sector is projected to be among the top ten major tourist destinations in the world in the next 10 years.   Therefore, this is the opportune time for you to be seen and be recognized as a player in this uprising market in Vietnam by being involved in Vietnam's largest travel exhibition – ITE HCMC 2007.
