International Football Federation President Joseph S. (Sepp) Blatter said he was أ¢â‚¬إ“impressedأ¢â‚¬آ by the sports infrastructure which he visited during his recent visit to Tunisia.
The FIFA president said he could not make a judgment on the value of each of the various candidacies to host the 2010 world football cup. But he added, أ¢â‚¬إ“I visited the sports infrastructure in Tunisia and I must say I was impressed by what I saw.أ¢â‚¬آ
Tunisia is among five African nations competing to host the 2010 world football cup. A FIFA inspection team is expected to visit Tunisia next month. Tunisia is also preparing to host the world handball cup in 2005.
